The White Coat Ceremony

The White Coat Ceremony held at Continental Medical College, Lahore on 27/02/2025 was a beautiful event marking the transition of students into the clinical phase of their education.
During the ceremony students don their white coats, symbolizing their commitment to medical ethics, professionalism, and patient care.
Prof Andaleeb Khanum took oath from new students. Prof Fauzia Farzana gave the vote of thanks .
Principal Prof Ayesha Shaukat in her welcome address to students and their parents gave a brief review of faculty, campus and latest curriculum details along with emphasizing upon the responsibilities and values of medical profession.
Ceremony concluded with group photos of new students and faculty followed by refreshments.

How to Avoid Plagiarism and Use of Turnitin

Library committee Continental Medical College arranged workshop on , ” How to avoid plagiarism and use of Turnitin ” 27th of February 2025
Facilitator was Dr. Muhammad Tariq , a learned Academician and researcher from Comsats University Lahore who delivered a thought provoking session on the importance of academic integrity, ethical writing practices, and effective use of Turnitin for plagiarism detection.
The workshop was attended by faculty members and researchers who actively participated in the discussion .
In the end chief guest Prof Alfareed Zafar stressed upon the need of reresearch and the event concluded with a vote of thanks from

Turning Plastic Waste into Value

Continental Medical College Organized a lecture on,
” Turning Plastic Waste into Value ” inviting a speaker
Ms Noor Muzammil from Otium , a development consultancy .

She shared with audience the hazards of plastic waste and their devised software application ,”Plastech”on social media for streamlining the smooth flow of plastic waste from users to the final disposer”.
She explained the positive impact, it would have on environment.

Workshop on Mastering Microsoft Office Tools

Hands-on one day workshop on Mastering Microsoft Office tools for health care professionals was arranged by library Committee of Continental Medical College, Lahore on 21st January 2025 .
Resource person was Dr. Muhammad Naushad Ghazanfar Associate Professor, presently working as head of information technology n management department at Minhaj University, Lahore.
Principal Continental Medical College Prof. Dr. Ayesha Shaukat in her concluding address stressed upon the need of subject in research and publication. She thanked Dr. Naushad and gave Shields to the guests and certificates to the participants.
