Activities
The subject of Obstetrics and Gynecology is taught from first year of MBBS according to the curriculum devised by UHS and PMC. The detailed clinical aspects are covered both in lectures and during the ward rotations in 4th year and final year. The lectures are delivered according to the yearly academic calendar based on interactive sessions, problem based learning and feedback system to improve the cognitive skills of the students and ensure positive reinforcement.
Regular assessment of the students is done by SEQs, MCQS, OSCE and ward test at the commencement of their ward rotation.
The Clinico Pathologocal Conference (CPC) is conducted every month to bring forth practical clinical problems for discussion with a multidisciplinary approach.
